To ask for price : (F) duo shao qian ? 多少钱？ (IF) ji duo qian ? 几多钱？ There are a few ways to say price. 1. The first one is for RM(Ringgit Malaysia) , Malaysian money currency. ........ lingji ...... xian 。。。。。零级。。。。先 ..... ringgit..... cents RM 24.67 : 二十四零级六是七先 2. The second one is for Chinese currency.There is also formal and informal way to pronounce price. Formal : .... yuan ... jiao ... fen 。。。 元。。。 角  。。。分 ￥29.43 ： 二十九元四角三分 Informal: .... kuai ... mao ... fen 。。。 块 。。。 毛 。。。分 ￥123.56 ： 一百二十三块五毛六分 Some other price number that involve zero at middle number : ￥1010.35 ：一万十块三毛五分 ￥10005.35 ：一万零五块三毛五分 ￥1005.35 ：一千零五元三角五分 ￥105.35 ：一百零五块三毛五分 That's it for today!再见！

The first part can be viewed  here  . 1 . shi 是 This is commonly used in even the simplest basic sentences.Basically 是 is used to connect two nouns. It can be translated as am/is/are/was/were . In Chinese grammar, the word '是' can be used for singular or plural. Example : 她是中国人。She is Chinese. 我是学生。I am a student. 我的妈妈是老师。 My mother is a teacher. 2 .hen 很 This particle means 'very' and usually is used before adjective to emphasize on the adjective itself. Example : 我也很好 。I am also glad to meet you. 明天，他们很忙。Tomorrow, they will be very busy. 你很可爱。 You are very cute. 3 .you 有 Basically , this particle meant have/has/had. It indicate possessiveness. Example : 我有四个家人。I have 4 family members. 她有一个狗。She has a dog. That's it for now.再见！

时间 ： 9:27 a.m. 日期 ： 18/05/2018 星期五 你好。早上好！今天， I will write about how to ask for date.In Chinese, date can be said as 几月几号（ ji yue ji hao – how many month how many day ）。 When pronouncing date in Chinese, the sequence is : Year-Month-Day To pronounce year in Chinese, take for example year 2000,it is pronounced as 二〇〇〇年 er ling ling ling nian. Pronounce every digit individually + ‘nian’. Lesson 8 talks about family members and asking about siblings. Family in 汉语 is 家人 (jia ren) which directly translates to ‘house people’ and it can be interpreted as family. 1 . 你们家有几口人？ (ni men jia you ji kou ren?)This phrase is used to ask someone how many family members he have . To answer the question : 我们家有 死 口人。（ I have four family members. ） 这是我 父母 ，姐姐和我。（ zhe shi wo fumu, jiejie he wo ） (This is my parents , older sister and me.) 2 . 胸肌姐妹？ (xiongji jiemei?) This phrase is used to ask how many sibling he have including himself . The phrase 你认识不认识他？ is used when asking someone whether he knows that person or not. The phrase 认识不认识 know or not know can be used simply to ask question. Other example : 忙不忙 (Busy or not busy)   去不去 (Go or not go) The phrase 一下 （yixia） meaning a bit can be used with verb. In this lesson , 我问一下 wo wen yixia is used.Other example : Go for a bit 去一下 Wait for a bit 当一下 Look for a bit  看一下 Come for a bit 来一下 That's it.See you next time.再见！
