Entry #16 : Online Class Lesson 6 & 7

Since there is GE going on right now , all Chinese classes in week 5 has become online class.This is the summary of what I had learned in this week’s online class.

Lesson 6 : 我们去游泳，好吗？(women qu youyong , hao ma?)（shall we go swimming?）



我们women – we
去qu – go
游泳youyong – swimming
好hao – good
吗ma – question expression

this phrase is used to suggest something to someone.The woman ask her friend to go swimming together.

 New words that I learnt :



Lesson 7 : 你认识不认识他 （ni renshi bu renshi da?）(do you know him?)



你ni - you
认识renshi - know
不bu - not

used at introducing phase where we ask our friend whether he/she knows that person or not.Example , A is friend with B and going to introduce B to C.

Date  :15/04/2018 Time : 9:05 p.m. What I understand about Chinese Pinyin and tone  is that it is how a Chinese character is pronounced Even though the alphabet looks same but it has different tone that indicate different meaning.  Every Chinese character consists of three components - Initial,Final and Tone Initial is the front of word while final is at end of the word.Meanwhile tone is how high or how low a certain part of word is pronounced.
